స్వప్రయోజనపు లెక్కలు. స్వచ్చమైన ప్రేమ మనస్సులో లెక్కలు చూచుకోదు. దేవుడు మానవులందరికీ ఈ విలువైన ప్రకృతిని అనుగ్రహించి తన మనస్సులో లెక్కలు చూచుకోకుండా స్వేచ్చగా మన కొరకు అర్పణ చేసాడు. మనము కూడ అట్టి మాదిరిగా ఇతరులను ప్రేమించునప్పుడు మనస్సున లెక్కలు చూచుకోకుండా, స్వప్రయోజనమును ఆశించకుండా దేవుని సేవలో ముందుకు కొనసాగిపోవాలన్నది ఈ పాఠ్యాంశము యొక్క సారాంశము. Calculations of self-seeking. Pure love does not think calculations in the mind. God has blessed all human beings with this precious nature and freely offered it for us without calculating it in his mind. The gist of this lesson is that when we love others in the same way, we should continue in the service of God without looking at calculations in our mind and without expecting self-interest.
